Kids Connection

A community is emotionally strong when kids are connected with their grandparents. In the USA, we, the first generation, always lack the opportunity to provide that connection to our children because their grandparents live too far from their home country. Team Bhindeshi welcomes the new year 2024 with a community service event to bring our kids and senior citizens together where kids will directly connect with senior residents of a local senior living community named ‘North Creek by Bonaventure’. Kids and senior residents would spend some quality time and create a few unforgettable moments in their lives with a personal touch from the elderly.

As discussed with the senior living administration, Bhindeshi will have limited seats available for this event. We will cap at 20 kids on a first come first serve basis. The registration will be closed by 24th December after which our signed-up kids will join the greetings card workshop to have them ready in advance.

Activities being planned:
1) Kids will make and share greeting cards and flowers
2) Kids will engage in some fun activities and have a story time with the residents

3) Enjoy light snacks together
